The tourism park primarily integrates the cooperative, hawthorn orchards, and food company processing industrial park to create an agricultural tourism project, representing the tertiary industry within the overall enterprise layout.
The cooperative has developed various attractions by planting flower fields under the hawthorn trees and in the edible fungus area, creating a comprehensive experience that includes viewing hawthorn blossoms, enjoying flower fields, picking mushrooms, harvesting hawthorn fruit, adopting hawthorn trees, and featuring a 200-metre glass observation corridor in the food processing industrial park. This provides an agricultural tourism destination for visitors from Beijing and Tianjin.
Built upon the hawthorn processing industrial park, the facility features various attractions including hawthorn picking, tree adoption programmes, a 220-metre observation corridor within the industrial park, and a hawthorn culture museum. In 2020, it was approved by the Chengde Education Bureau as the "Chengde Hawthorn Culture Practice and Study Base," accommodating over 60,000 primary and secondary school students annually for social practice activities.
